The Erasmus Learning Academy (ELA), is a training centre that strongly supports and believes in the innovation, modernisation and internationalisation of education.
Our mission is to foster excellence and quality improvements in education and training. We design and deliver training courses and structured training events for teachers, trainers, headmaster and other education staff and we support them in participating in learning mobility experiences (e.g. jobshadowing, study visits, ...) to foster the improvement of their competences and the quality of education. 
We work in the education sector since more than 10 years, thus we know the real context and the challenges which teachers are facing every day. Fueled by our genuine, motivated and passionate approach, we regularly participate in international training and European conference to keep our know-how up-to-date. We actively participate in the network of Erasmus organizations in a  multitude of ways: hosting participants from other countries and sending our staff abroad through Erasmus+ KA1 mobility projects; taking part in conferences and contact activities organised by the National Agencies and the EU institutions; ideating or participating in Erasmus+ KA2 innovation projects and strategic partnerships; sharing our knowledge with other organisations that have less experience in the Programme by providing advice, mentorship or other support.
We’ve a strong know-how in organizing international training courses for teachers, headmasters and educational staff and in the last 5 years we’ve successfully received and trained over 3000 teachers and education staff coming from all over Europe as you can read from the reviews at on School Education Gateway and on our website.
We’ve extensive experience in delivering education staff training especially in the framework of European programmes. We’ve experience in providing linguistic, pedagogical and cultural preparation before the course as well as support and assistance during and after it. We know how to support and guide participants providing clear and comprehensive information before the courses and how to assess and recognize their learning outcomes through national and European instruments (i.e. Europass, ECVET, …).  We put a strong effort on facilitating the share the process of sharing results and knowledge gained during the course.
Past participants appreciated especially the quality of instructions, our interactive and hands-on approach focused on practice and experiential training as well as our support in project implementation, practical arrangements, certification and dissemination. Most of our participants receive funding from the Erasmus+ programme. If you’re eligible to receive a grant from Erasmus+ you shall consider that we can support you by providing:
- advices and information during the application phase;
- support for the final report and the Mobility Tool filling;
- all the documents needed (certificates, invoices, invitation letters, …) in the format requested by Erasmus+ National
Agencies and European authorities;
- support to disseminate your project and its results thanks to our strong communication channels.
As partner, we bring a strong added value to an Erasmus+ project thanks to our long-lasting experience, our international presence (eTwinning, SEG, EPALE…), our involvement as stakeholder in EC initiatives and our dissemination and visibility capacity.

The last years have been rich of challenges and successes and it’s always nice to look back to the recent past to then look forward.
2022 was as well the year in which we finalized the project Social Inclusion through Gamification in Education and if you haven’t yet checked SIGE curriculum and handbook then you have to.
I would have loved to spend a word on each of the unique 114 training courses implemented in 2022 that empowered and inspired over 1300 teachers and education staff to improve the education for several thousands of students. This is our long-term goal and the true driver behind our passion and dedication.
ELA new catalogue is pushing forward our mission to improve the quality of education in Europe. We’ve further widened our training offer capitalizing on your feedback (feel welcome to write us proposing new ideas for innovative and practice based training). Grounding on the success and positive feedback of our course “The best for preschool teachers” we’ve added two brand new training courses tailored for preschool education staff one focused on innovative teaching methods and one on outdoor education. Moreover you will find 3 other new training courses about green skills, gender inclusiveness and group management.

Multilanguage - Our team is composed of experts from all over Europe that speak fluently over 8 languages, able to organize ad-hoc sessions and to support the participants from every point of view, including the linguistic one.

Meet our team
Our international and carefully selected team of trainers and support staff combines field expertise with passion and a proven track record of successes. In every training we deliver we bring our concrete experience as well as care for details. 
​Our team will take care of you throughout the preparation and implementation steps including providing you all the support needed to apply for Erasmus+ funding and all the assistance regarding your logistic and travel arrangements. 
We come from every corner of Europe and we speak more than 10 languages so, if you require it, we can support you and/or deliver the training in your mother tongue.

​Francesco Tarantino
Francesco Tarantino holds a Master Degree in ICT Engineering and has been involved in training and education activities since 2004 and is working part-time as a teacher. He participates as stakeholder and speaker in policy-making events and conferences organized by the European Commission on the topic of education and training. He was selected to contribute to the development of the ESCO classification for the Education sector.

Francesco is truly passionate about teaching and training especially to fellow teachers. He has been the lead trainer in more than 100 training courses for teacher and education staff. Through the years he has developed an extensive knowledge on education and training, integration of ICT and e-learning in education, dual education, public speaking and soft skills.
​Sara Natalini
Sara Natalini holds a Master Degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs and has participated in several diplomatic simulations aimed at promoting the international and European values and organization.
​
Sara has gained experience in the organization and implementation of Erasmus plus training courses for teachers and education staff, specializing in the area of intercultural learning and diversity, innovative and creative teaching methods. She underwent an Erasmus mobility in France and speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish.
Susanna Esposito
Susanna Esposito holds a degree in Intercultural Mediation and a Master degree in Language, Society and Communication obtained at the University of Bologna.

Passionate about travelling and different cultures, she participated in two Erasmus experiences in Ireland, one as a student in Cork and the second as a translator in a Dublin agency. 

Susanna has gained experience in managing trainings courses in the field of early school leaving, bullying prevention and innovative teaching methods. She speaks Italian, English, French and Russian.
​​Giulia Amato
Giulia Amato holds a degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques at the University of Palermo and a Master degree in Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Torino. Passionate about empowerment and training dynamics, she is specializing with a Postgraduate Master Degree in Human Resource Management and Development. 

​Giulia has gained experience in designing and managing training courses, especially in the psychological and sociological field. She speaks Italian, English and German.
​Valeria Di Bella
Valeria Di Bella holds a degree in Modern literature at the university of Siena and a master degree in European cultures and linguistic science at the university of Bologna, where she particularly gained experitse in Didactics.

Motivated by her passion for travels and foreign cultures, she spent a semester in England, working and mastering the language.

She gained experience in organizing and managing training corses, especially in the field of Innovative teaching methods.​

Martina Granata

Martina Granata has a degree in Foreign languages and literature with a master in Languages and translation for International relations obtained at the University of Palermo. During university Martina became passionate about languages, culture and didactics.

Martina speaks fluent Italian, English and Spanish and spent a semester studying at the University of Valencia thanks to the Erasmus+ programme.

Martina has gained experience in the fields of Innovative teaching methods, including ICT tools for education and non-formal delivery methods for language teaching.

Isabel Martinez 

Isabel Martinez holds a Master’s degree in Archaeology and Cultures of the Ancient World, obtained at the University of Bologna.

Isabel gained experience managing training courses in the field of Diversity and Inclusion. Thanks to several experiences abroad, such as AFS year programme in Portugal and Erasmus+ experience at the University of Leeds (UK) and the University of Paris 7, she became passionate about the concepts of Intercultural learning, identity and cultural diversity.

She speaks Italian, Spanish, English, Portuguese and French.

Serena Sciarrotta

Serena Sciarrotta holds a degree in Languages and Intercultural studies and a master's degree in Languages and Translation for International relations, obtained  both at the University of Palermo and the University of Valencia thanks to a double degree program.

She speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish, language that she mastered during her Erasmus+ experience in Zaragoza.

​Serena gained experience in the fields of Innovative teaching methods, including ICT tools for educational purposes, and interculturality.

Irene Clofent

Irene Clofent has a degree in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and a Masters in Education from the University of La Laguna, where she received recognition for her thesis on the use of digital fabrication and design technologies in the field of cultural heritage.

Motivated by non-formal education, she obtained the title of Coordinator and Youth Worker and improved this knowledge in three Erasmus exchanges (Poland, Bulgaria and St. Maarten in the Caribbean).

Irene has gained experience in the area of innovative and creative teaching methods, including ICT tools for education and non -formal education methods.
Emanuele Ferrara
Emanuele Ferrara holds a Master Degree in Economics and Management of Non-profit Organizations and Cooperatives, and Postgraduate Master Degree in Social Innovation, Social Start-up, Social Business, and Project Innovation at the ASVI School for Management & Social Change.
​
Emanuele has been the project assistant and financial manager in more than 50 Erasmus plus projects. He is expert in project management, entrepreneurship education, organizational and financial management.
Lara Borrego Jullien
Lara Borrego holds a Bachelor in “Business and Tourism” and a Master Degree in “Digital Marketing and Web Analytics”. Among other things, she has been working in the hugest Spanish company in the advertising market.

Her strengths are social and digital marketing and technology and she has been training assistant in several training courses tailored for teachers. Lara works as SEO specialist to increase the visibility and dissemination of the training courses and their results.
