Course overview
Many studies and research have proven how soft skills and emotional intelligence are directly linked to success. This is true especially in the education sectors where skills such as communication, language, personal habits, interpersonal skills, managing people, leadership, etc. that characterize relationships with other people are more crucial and relevant than in other sectors. Soft skills contrast to hard skills, which are generally easily quantifiable and measurable, but are not less important than those. By attending this Erasmus plus course participants will improve their soft skills and emotional intelligence such as teamwork, leadership, stress management, conflict management, public speaking, effective communication, meeting management.
Main objectivesThis structured Erasmus plus course aims to enable participants to improve their soft skills and work on their emotional intelligence meanwhile mastering concrete tools and activities to be used with the pupils to support them to develop their emotional intelligence skills.
The general aim of this course is to foster excellence in education by empowering teachers, trainers, headmasters and other education staff to improve their soft skills together with other participants and trainers throughout all Europe gaining as well a broader understanding of education in Europe and exchanging best practices and experiences. Target audienceThis course is addressed to teachers, trainers, educational counsellors, career counsellors, school psychologists, headmasters, school management and administrative staff working in primary schools, secondary schools, vocational schools, training centres, adult education schools, higher education, kindergarten and NGOs. Please mind that the course may include teachers from different school levels.
