Course overview
The richness and complexity of gender-related topics require teachers and education staff to enhance their knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards gender-responsiveness. By facing gender stereotypes, empowering students to express their unique selves, and fostering confidence in their personalities, educators play a crucial role in preventing gender-based discrimination and fostering inclusive learning environments. This responsiveness involves promoting self-reflection and self-awareness, activating anti-discriminatory and anti-harassment practices, and implementing tools and strategies to ensure students feel listened to, understood, and respected. By participating in this course, teachers and education staff will share and discuss challenges, best practices, and strategies to recognize, embrace, and celebrate gender diversity in the classroom.
