Course overview
To better achieve their teaching goals, effective teachers should also act as effective classroom managers. Classroom management skills are essential, even for the most talented educators, as learning cannot take place amidst misbehavior and chaos. Instruction thrives upon leading a classroom environment that promotes a collaborative community, encourages student voice, creativity, leadership, critical thinking and effective teamwork. In successful classroom management, the needs of children and students are at the center of the teaching process.
By participating in this course, you will learn how to incorporate reflective moments and peer education into your teaching practices to monitor and enhance motivation and classroom behaviors. By the end of the course, you will be equipped to implement proactive modern practices, including the Flipped Classroom approach, and establish a classroom structure that promotes a positive, inclusive, engaging, motivated, and safe learning environment. This will enhance your teaching skills and help simplify your classroom management tasks.
