Our training courses for teachers and education staff are eligible and tailored to be 100% funded by the Erasmus plus programme, notably under KA1 - key action 1 learning mobility of individuals for school education staff (KA121-SCH and KA122-SCH), adult education staff (KA121-ADU and KA122-ADU), VET staff (KA121-VET and KA122-VET) and higher education staff (KA131-HED).
 
Teachers, headmasters, lecturers, educators as well as administrative and non-teaching staff of any education organization are eligible to receive an Erasmus plus grant funding all the costs to attend our training courses including travel, board and lodging and course fee. We're specialized on teacher training courses but several of our courses are open as well to school management and non-teaching staff, especially the ones related with soft skills, inclusion, languages and internationalisation. To receive the Erasmus plus KA1 funding the home institution of teacher/staff shall submit a KA1 Erasmus plus grant application by the annual key action 1 deadline. The 2024 deadline is approaching soon since it will be the 20th of February 2024. WHAT IS ERASMUS PLUS?

Erasmus plus is the European programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period 2021-2027. It provides grants for a wide range of actions including the opportunity for students to undertake work placements abroad and for teachers and education staff to attend training courses.
Erasmus plus key action 1 provides a unique opportunity for teachers, lecturers, headmasters and other staff of education institutions to participate in international training courses in different European countries. The home institution shall apply to receive the grant to send its staff members abroad for training.

who can get the erasmus plus ka1 funding?

Schools, univesities, VET and adult education organizations are all eligible to receive full funding to attend our courses under an Erasmus plus KA1 mobility grant.
Teachers, lecturers, educators, headteachers, school managers and administrators, and any other staff members both teaching and non-teaching can be sent abroad to attend structured training courses such as the ones that we are organizing.
Please consider that a wide range of organizations may be considered eligible as adult education organizations including cultural organizations, musical associations, non-profit organizations and any organizations providing any kind of formal or non-formal education to adults.
We recommend that you check with your Erasmus+ National Agency to verify if your home institution is eligible as sending organizations under the Erasmus+ key action 1 (school education, vocational education and training, higher educations and adult education sectors).

which costs are covered by the erasmus plus grant?

The Erasmus plus KA1 grant covers all the costs to attend our training courses including travel, subsistence and course fee.
The Erasmus plus KA1 funding provides lump sum amounts to cover some of those costs but if you will entrust us to manage the practical arrangements we will make sure that the funding will be enough. With the given budget we will provide accommodation in single room, full board and cultural activities during the free time. You can read how we take care of the practical arrangements.
In particular for each teacher/staff member sent abroad the Erasmus plus KA1 funding provides:

• A lump sum that depends on the distance from your city to the course venue to cover the travel cost;
• A lump sum amount of EUR 79-180 per day (depending on your National Agency and on the country of destination) to cover the individual support/subsistence costs (i.e. board, lodging, local transport), bear in mind that each participant can request 2 additional days for the travel so when attending our courses we recommend you to request 9 days of individual support*;
• A lump sum amount of EUR 80 per day to cover the course fee (up to a maximum of EUR 800);
• A lump sum amount of EUR 100 to cover costs directly linked to the implementation of the training including preparation (pedagogical, intercultural, linguistic), monitoring and support of participants during mobility, validation of learning outcomes, dissemination activities;
• Additional funds to cover the 100% of the costs directly related to participants with fewer possibilities and their accompanying persons.

* Participants using green travel means (such as bus, train, car...) can request up to 4 travel days.

which are the steps to apply for the erasmus plus funding?

1. ​​Read carefully the Erasmus+ guide notably the sections related to key action 1.
2. If your institution isn't yet  registered in the Participant Portal you will need to do it in order to receive a Organization ID (OID) that is mandatory to participate in Erasmus+. You can find guidance on how to register.
3. Complete the online application form with a detailed proposal motivating carefully your needs and the expected impact. Please mind that filling the application form will require some time. Feel welcome to contact us to receive support.
4. Submit the application online before the annual deadline.

Yes. We support our partners in the application process providing detailed information about our training courses and their daily programmes, about the learning outcomes foreseen, about our institution and about our experience as well as advices and guiding documents for filling the application form and the budget. As partner, we bring a strong added value to an Erasmus plus project thanks to our experience, our international presence and European commitment (ESEP, eTwinning, SEG, EPALE…), our involvement as stakeholder in EC initiatives and networks and its dissemination and visibility capacity.

Please make sure that the training course you choose matches the learning needs mentioned in your application form and inform us as soon as possible so that we can reserve a place for you.
