Course overview
In today's fast-paced educational environment, stress and burnout are common challenges faced by teachers and students alike. This course introduces the ancient practice of yoga as a powerful tool to enhance mental and physical well-being within the school setting. Participants will explore how yoga can reduce stress, foster a positive and mindful approach to education, and improve overall health. The course is designed not only to teach yoga practices but also to provide insights into integrating these practices into school settings and in the classroom. Participants will learn how to foster a harmonious educational environment inside the school and in the classroom where teachers, students and the whole school staff can thrive, using yoga as a tool to improve concentration, reduce stress, build trust, improve self-confidence and cultivate a positive and supportive learning community.

Target audienceThis course is addressed to teachers, trainers, educational counsellors, career counsellors, school psychologists, headmasters, school management and administrative staff working in primary schools, secondary schools, vocational schools, training centres, adult education schools, higher education and NGOs. Please mind that the course may include teachers from different school levels. LanguageThe course is held in English.
