Course overview
In recent years, there has been a growing movement toward rethinking the role of assessment in education. Traditional grading and evaluation systems are increasingly criticized for negatively impacting students and failing to provide meaningful insights into their learning outcomes. Over the past decades, teachers and education staff have shown increasing interest in the application of formative assessment and feedback management in education, now recognized as some of the most effective classroom management and instructional strategies.
By taking part in this training course, participants will learn how to effectively and purposefully apply assessment and feedback strategies in the classroom with the aim of enhancing teachers’ awareness of students’ understanding while fostering students’ ability to self-check and responsibility towards the learning process.
