TRAINING OFFER AND NEW ACTIVITES
During the past months, we wanted to create learning opportunities that could help teachers of all school levels to continue exchange best practices and improve themselves as educators, simply from their homes. Firstly, we were able to guarantee a concrete help to Italian teachers and educational staff who were not familiar with the big world of digital learning. In collaboration with local schools, our director Francesco Tarantino provided online courses offering the most useful and helpful ICT tools to address the problems and challenges which e-learning can present. You can directly contact us at [email protected] in case you are interested in knowing more about this initiative. Secondly, we organized Meeting Beyond Borders, a series of five free online conferences, with speakers and participants from all over Europe, who had the opportunity to share and learn best practices about several trending topics in the education field, such as Distance Learning. If you are curious to know participants' contribution and experiences and hopefully gain some useful ideas for you, too, you can read and download the reports of the conferences for free.
We recommend you to always monitor our website in case you would like to be part of new learning initiatives!

PRACTICAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR NEW ONSITE COURSES
All ELA courses between mid-March 2020 and July 2020 have been postponed. All registered participants were offered the possibility to move their registration to future sessions, courses or location, without any additional cost or cancellation fee.
At the moment, our best guess is that our onsite courses could be implemented again starting from August 2020. From then on, and in order to guarantee the safe implementation of our courses, we will carefully consider the situation and take the proper arrangements case by case.
If you have reserved a place for a course taking place from August 2020, we recommend you to choose the most flexible travel plans. In case of Covid-19 related inability to arrange the course, we will offer the possibility to attend a future session or to move to a different location without any additional cost, but we will not be in the position of covering potential losses from travel expenses.

NEW SAFETY ARRANGEMENTS
We will arrange our courses on site again when the sanitary emergency will subside and the national authorities will consider the implementation of our activities as safe.
The venues in which the courses will be delivered have all been adapting to the new health and sanitary requirements. We will pay particular attention to the cleaning and hygienic conditions of the training venue and any other place you will visit during the training week for the purpose of training or cultural activities.
More specific recommendations (e.g. the use of face mask, social distancing, hand sanitization) will depend on the current epidemic situation and authority recommendation at the moment of the course implementation. We will take care of informing the participants in advance on how they should behave.
